ABOUT US

MANAGEMENT TEAM

H. Allen Stuart, Jr., Owner

Allen Stuart launched Advanced Building Services in 2004 to provide higher quality, custom buildings to oilfield services companies, for both offshore and onshore use. Always challenging the status quo, he further improved the building process and outcome by opening a new ABS manufacturing facility in Ferriday, Louisiana in 2006, which can produce custom cabins ready for deployment in as little as 90 days. Allen continues to actively pursue new technological and operational advances that will enhance the services ABS offers.

Before launching ABS, Allen founded Oilfield Instrumentation USA, a successful software technology company that delivers real-time drilling instrumentation and gas detection.

Thomas "Bo" Godfrey, President

As one of the co-founders and president of Advanced Building Services, Bo Godfrey oversees company operations in Louisiana, Texas, Arkansas and North Dakota, with responsibilities for customer relations, pricing, marketing, fulfillment, and business development. Godfrey has wide-ranging oilfield services experience since 1985, including work with Griffith Oil Tools, InWell, Oil and Gas Rental Tools, Teleco Oilfield Services, and the Roper Pump Company, where he was stationed in Aberdeen, Scotland. Godfrey earned a BS in geology from Northeast Louisiana University.

Alex Mahfouz, Operations Manager

Alex “Lexie” Mahfouz joined ABS over three years ago to oversee operations and manage procurement for the company's service centers nationwide. A businessman for the previous 25 years, Alex brought his experience in successful inventory management to ABS to enhance project turnaround times. ABS has the shortest known lead times in the industry, in part because of the materials inventory stocked at the fabrication facility, and the rental fleet inventory managed at various locations.

Craig Dugas, Project Engineer

As a Project Engineer for Advanced Building Services, Craig Dugas is responsible for understanding your oilfield accommodation needs and then conceptualizing the most appropriate designs to meet all applicable health, safety and environmental regulations.

Dugas has been in the oil and gas industry for just over 20 years, starting with Schlumberger in the 1980s. He has worked with ABS since its founding in 2004, and worked previously in design and project management for other companies that build oilfield accommodations. Dugas was part of the team in the early 90s which designed and fabricated one of the first modular sleeping/living quarters that was approved by the US Coast Guard. He takes great pride in projects currently being used in the North Sea with designs that met or exceeded the standard from DNV, NORSOK and the customer.
